I apologise for the bad picture quality. This is what happens when you have a really crappy camera. First world problems, I know.
This nail art was actually completely accidental. I started off with a coat of Rimmel Nail Nurse followed by two or three coats of Barry M Nail Polish in 273 Raspberry. This shade is really easy to put on, but like all Barry M products, build up the colour gradually, don't overclog your brush.
After this had totally dried I then used a Barry M NailArt pen in white to add criss-cross patterns from left to right, up and down the nails. I then added a very thin layer of the previous nail colour and sealed with several layers of topcoat to give it a nice gel-like finish.
Unlike my other designs, this is probably the most difficult and despite using a basecoat, it did stain my nails ever so slightly. I wouldn't recommend this design as an everyday design, more of a event design.
Products used:
> Rimmel London Nail Nurse
> Barry M Nail Polish in 273 Raspberry
>Barry M NailArt Pen in White
> Sally Hansen Hard As Nails basecoat (used as topcoat)
Happy Scribbling XOXO
